“The Painter In Paris” is about a character, a painter, who visits Paris with his paint tin, brush and ladder, and tries to paint various famous Parisian landmarks in the French “tres cleur” of Red, White and Blue. He is unsuccessful in all his attempts and finally finds success in the artists square around Montmatre.
A short simple story, about big dreams and the persistence it takes to follow and then realise them. And then realising in the end that maybe the dreams you had were not the ones that you needed, and that what makes you happy and fulfilled in the end, may be something less than you had dreamt. Sometimes the things that make us happy are right at our feet, and easily achievable, if recognised.
A simple story that is meant to be light hearted and fun.
