STORY

When Lou, the timid, company misfit, builds a miniature model of her office space, she discovers that it has magical abilities that give her control over her architecture firm. As she tries to use it to overcome her difficult colleagues and work environment, Lou inevitably begins conforming to her company’s toxic culture and winds up losing her sense of individuality.

Eliza Goh is a writer and director, who takes interest in telling personal stories of the everyday man through quirky, absurd and sometimes fantastical ways. She hopes to intrigue her audiences, yet also leave them feeling, thinking and reflecting on their personal journeys as they watch the journeys of her characters unfold on screen. In her budding career as a filmmaker, she has directed and written 4 short films including Built to Scale (2023), Ant Nest (2022), Call it a Day (2021) and Square Root of 4=2 (2020). Her film Ant Nest, was nominated in several categories in the Student category of *Scape Singapore’s National Youth Film Awards 2022 and won the Best Performance Award and Best Original Music Award. It has also been selected to be screened at Objectifs Freshtake! 2023. Built to Scale, has also recently been nominated for the National Youth Film Awards 2023, Student category and will be competing in several categories.
