Rafael Nieto
Rafael Nieto was born in Madrid in 1976. He holds BA and MA Degrees in Law and a PhD in Film History. He has published the books “Javier Bardem” (2013) and “Juan de Orduña: 50 años de cine español” (2014), the latter awarded with the 2015 Muñoz Suay Award. He has produced nine short films; one of them, “Carabanchel, un barrio de cine” (2007), was nominated for a Goya from the Academy of Cinematographic Art and Sciences of Spain. He has directed the short films “Limosna” (2002), “El Perezas” (2003)”, “Historia política de una carabela” (2018), “Antonio Ramos Espejo, el amanecer del cine en China” (2019) and “Todavía sigo vivo” (2021).
